The Fiesta of the Lady of the Rule

The Fiesta of the Lady of the Rule, in honour of the Virgin Mary was celebrated last Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church and Parish Hall in Liverpool on the 21st November at 12.00 noon.
The Fiesta was organised by the Visayan Association of Australia Inc. in association with the Philippine Community Council of NSW Inc, Fil-Oz Liverpool, the Praise Family Apostolate and Evestcco-Eastern Visayas Community, whose members should be thanked for the hard work and dedication that was put into making this event a success.
The event started with a Eucharistic Celebration led by Father Raning Creta of Fikipino Chaplain , Parramatta Diocese and assisted by Father Nilo Deligero and Father Ed Orilla, with singing provided by the Praise Family Apostolate Choir.
The program followed with lunch sharing held in the Parish Hall. The Sound Music Mix was provided by the Dido Bohol Band, who is a regular music contributor on Radio Sandigan.
With over 100 people in attendance, they were entertained by many artists both young and old. Solo performances was provided by our very own Mr Erwin Villaber, Ms Terry Spencer, and Ms Alisha Buaya.
Along with special guests the ever entertaining Valdez sisters, Mikayla and Karen who always never cease to entertain us with their performances. Ms Janet Aritao a recent guest singer on Radio Sandigan, Ms Cynthia Gorden, Ma. Paz Barcenas also performed during the fiesta. Flower Dance and Pearly Shells dances were also performed by the Visayan Cultural Dance Group. Two young ladies joined the the Visayan Cultural Group who never cease to WOW us with their performance to the delight of all who attended the Fiesta. The afternoon was further enjoyed with many raffle prizes on offer.
